Chicken with Ginger

Chicken (boneless) | ½ kg |
Chicken stock | 1 cup |
Garlic (chopped) | 1 table spoon |
Ginger powder | 1 ½ tea spoon |
Ginger (sliced in thin) | 1 tea spoon |
Salt | To taste |
Black pepper (freshly ground) | To taste |
Tomatoes (chopped) | 2 |
Onion (chopped) | 1 medium |
Green chilies (sliced in half) | For garnishing |
Coriander Leaves | For garnishing |
Red chili powder | To taste |
Coriander powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Oil | 2 to 3 table spoon |
1. Sauté onion and add chicken to fry till golden brown. |
2. Add the vegetables and the spices and stir for another 5 minutes |
3. Pour in the chicken stock and bring to a boil and lower the flame to let cook. |
4. When the water has reduced to half add the ginger slices and let simmer. |
5. When the oil rises to surface add the garnishing and remove from flame. |
