Banana Loaf
Time of preparation: 30 Minutes
Time of cooking: 45 Minutes
Flour | 1 cup |
Baking Powder | 1 ½ tea spoon |
Soda Bi Carbonate | ½ tea spoon |
Eggs | 4 |
Ground Sugar | 1 cup |
Oil/ Butter | ¾ cup |
Fresh Milk | 1 table spoon |
Vanilla/ banana essence | Few drops |
Banana (mashed) | 1 |
1. Sift together flour, baking powder and soda. |
2. Beat together eggs and sugar. |
3. Add oil or softened butter slowly. Also add milk, banana and essence. |
4. Fold in the flour at low speed. |
5. Bake for 40 – 45 minutes at 150° – 200° C/ 300° – 400° F/ Gas mark 4 |
6. After the cake cools down decorate with butter icing. |
