Fuzzy Fruit Cake
Time of preparation: 45 Minutes
Time of cooking: 60 Minutes
Flour | 1 cup |
Baking Powder | 1 ½ tea spoon |
Soda bi carbonate | ½ tea spoon |
Ground Cinnamon powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Eggs | 4 |
Ground Sugar | 1 cup |
Oil/ Butter | ¾ cup |
Honey | 1 table spoon |
Sultanas/ Raisins | 2 table spoon |
Walnut & Almonds (chopped) | ½ cup |
Black currant/ berries (sliced) | ½ cup |
Vanilla/ chocolate essence | Few drops |
1. Sift together flour, baking powder and soda. |
2. Beat together eggs and sugar. |
3. Add oil or softened butter slowly; also add cinnamon powder, honey and essence. |
4. Fold in the flour at low speed and add dried fruits now. |
5. Bake for about an hour at 200° – 230° C/ 400° – 450° F/ Gas mark 5. |
