Bread
Time of preparation: 40 Minutes
Time of cooking: 30 – 60 Minutes
Flour | 1 lb roughly 4 cups |
Salt | almost 1 tea spoon |
Yeast | a little over 1 tea spoon |
Sugar | ⅓ tea spoon |
Luke warm Water | 250 ml |
Butter | 1 tea spoon |
1. Put yeast and sugar in the water to dissolve and leave aside for a while until the yeast rises. |
2. Make a well in the flour, add salt and butter. |
3. Pour the yeast and kneed. |
4. Keep aside to double in size. |
5. Kneed again and give shape of the bread. |
6. Keep aside for about another 10 minutes. |
7. Let bake at moderate temperature of GMK 4 to 5. |
8. Brush to glaze with milk after every little while. |
Tip; Use wheat flour for whole meal bread. |
