Chicken and cheese stacks
Time of preparation: 45 Minutes
Time of cooking: 40 Minutes (Serves 4)
Chicken (boiled and shredded) | 1 ½ cup |
Cottage cheese | 1 cup |
Cheddar Cheese | ½ cup |
Cream | 3 table spoon |
Salt & pepper. | ½ tea spoon each |
1. Mix all the ingredients. |
Flour | 1 cup |
Eggs | 2 |
Salt | a pinch |
Oil | 1 table spoon |
Water/ Milk | 1 ¼ cups roughly |
2. Blend all the above ingredients in a blender. |
3. Oil a frying pan and make pan cakes. |
4. The batter can make 8 pan cakes if ¾ th cup batter is used every time. |
Butter | 2 table spoon |
Flour | 3 table spoon |
Milk | 1 ¼ cup |
Salt | to taste |
Black Pepper | to taste |
5. Heat the butter and fry flour till light brown. |
6. Remove from flame and add milk while stirring continually. |
7. Thicken the sauce on flame and add salt and pepper. |
8. Now layer a round tray with the pancake, white sauce, chicken filling and another pancake to make stacks. |
9. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes at about 180° – 200° C. |
