Eggless Waffles
Time of preparation: 30 Minutes
Time of cooking: 20 Minutes (Serves 5)
Flour | 1½ cup |
Sugar | ¾ cup |
Baking Powder | 1 tea spoon |
Baking Soda | ½ tea spoon |
Yogurt | 1 cup |
Milk | As required |
Vanilla essence | Few drops |
Chocolate chips (optional) | ½ cup |
Butter (for greasing) | As required |
Blue berries (optional) | As required |
Maple syrup | For drizzling |
1. Put all the dry ingredients together. |
2. Add all other ingredients and make a batter with the required consistency. |
3. Pour in the chocolate chip or blueberries to taste. |
4. Mix the batter well and set aside for 5 to 10 minutes. |
5. Warm the waffle maker and pour in ladle full of batter to cook. |
6. Once cooked serve with maple syrup drizzled on top. |
Tips; You can have fun with this recipe by switching up the fruit; strawberries, apples, blackberries, blueberries and bananas are all delicious in the waffles so feel free to try out various flavours. |
