Gobi Gosht

Beef/ Mutton | ½ kg |
Onion (finely sliced in rings) | 6 |
Yogurt | 5 tablespoons |
Cardamom Pods | 4 |
Black Cardamom Pod | 1 |
Black Pepper Whole | 6 to 7 |
Clove | 1 |
Oil | 4 tablespoon |
Cinnamon Stick | 1 inch piece |
Ginger Paste | 1 ½ teaspoon |
Garlic paste | 1 teaspoon |
Salt | 1 teaspoon |
Red Chilli Powder | 1 teaspoon |
Turmeric | ½ teaspoon |
Tomatoes | 2 |
Cauliflower | 1 whole |
Fresh Green Chillies | 2 |
Fresh Coriander | Few sprigs |
1. Sauté onion till golden brown add ginger, garlic paste and other spices. |
2. Add a little water and stir in well. |
3. Add yogurt and stir well so the gravy doesn’t curdle. |
4. Add the meat and stir well. |
5. Pour in some more water and bring to a boil then pressure cook it for about 3 to 4 whistles. |
6. Afterwards add tomatoes and cook well. |
7. When the meat is tender add the cauliflower and cook for another 15 to 20 minutes till the cauliflower has turned soft. |
8. Garnish with coriander and chillies and remove from heat. |
