Hunter Beef (Amma’s recipe)
Time of preparation: 2 to 3 Days
Time of cooking: 120 Minutes
Beef (solid chunk) | 1 kg |
Salt | ¼ cup |
Lemon Juice | ½ cup |
1. Rub the meat with salt & lemon. |
2. Soak it in water and put aside for 2 or 3 days (can be kept out for 7 hours and then refrigerate it). |
3. Wash the meat with water thoroughly and tie it with string. |
4. Place in a cooking pot and cover the meat with water and let cook. |
5. Boil well for 15 to 20 minutes and then let simmer for 1 to 1 ½ hours. |
6. The remaining water can be reused as beef stock. |
