Macaroni and Meat pie
Time of preparation: 45 Minutes
Time of cooking: 1 Hour
Long Macaroni (boiled) | 2 cup |
Butter | 1 tea spoon |
Salt & Black pepper | ½ tea spoon |
Nutmeg powder | Lesser ¼ tea |
1. Mix the above ingredients and put aside. |
2. Also make 2 cup white sauce with cheddar cheese |
Minced Meat | 1 cup |
Onion (chopped) | 1 |
Ginger Paste | 1 tea spoon |
Garlic paste | 1 tea spoon |
Salt & Black pepper | To taste |
Vinegar | 3 table spoon |
Soya sauce | 1 table spoon |
Tomatoes (chopped) | ½ cup |
Caster Sugar | 1 tea spoon |
Cooking oil | 2 table spoon |
Ketchup | ½ cup |
Red Chili Powder | To taste |
Capsicum (sliced) | ½ cup |
Cabbage (sliced) | ½ cup |
3. Sauté onions till light brown, add ginger & garlic paste and then add the minced meat and stir fry. |
4. Add the spices & sauces along with tomatoes and stir well. |
5. When the meat is tender add ketchup and vegetables. |
6. Sprinkle in the sugar and remove from flame. |
7. Layer a pie dish with macaroni at the base, meat sauce sandwiched between macaroni and cover with white sauce. |
8. Bake in oven till the top most layer of white sauce turns golden. |
