Minced Meat Puffs
Time of preparation: 30 Minutes
Time of cooking: 40 Minutes (Serves 4)
Butter | 2 oz |
Chicken Stock | ½ cup |
Flour | ½ cup |
Eggs | 3 |
Baking Powder | 1 ½ tea spoon |
Salt & Black pepper | ½ tea spoon each |
Oil | for frying |
Potatoes (boiled & mashed) | ¾ cup |
1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and remove from flame. |
2. Add flour and stir continually on flame. |
3. Now add the water and stir continually away from flame. |
4. When mixture is mixed together let it thicken on flame again. |
5. When the flour doesn’t stick to sides remove from flame and keep aside to cool. |
6. Beat together with eggs, salt and pepper, leaving the consistency very thick. |
7. Deep fry the batter forming balls with hands. |
Minced Meat | 1 cup |
Onion (finely chopped) | 1 medium |
Salt and black pepper | to taste |
Ground red chilli | to taste |
Tomatoes | 1 small |
Ginger & garlic paste | 1 tea spoon |
Oil | 1 table spoon |
8. Sauté the onion in oil; add ginger garlic paste and other ingredients. |
9. Make holes in the puffs and stuff the filling. |
10. Serve with a dip or sauce. |
