Mooli ka Paratha
Time of preparation: 30 Minutes
Time of cooking: 20 Minutes (Serves 5)
Paratha dough | 10 small balls |
Radish (shredded) | 4 cup |
Cumin Seed (Zeera) | ¼ tea spoon |
Red chilli powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Salt | To taste |
Chat Masala | ¼ tea spoon |
Fresh Coriander (chopped) | 2 table spoon |
Fresh Green Chilli (chopped) | 1 to 2 |
Oil | For frying |
1. Mix the grated mooli with salt and drain away the water in 2 to 3 minutes time. |
2. Add all other ingredients and mix well, divide the mixture in 5 equal parts. |
3. Roll out two small balls and place the radish mixture in the middle leaving the edges. |
4. Seal the first rolled out bread with another one. |
5. Roll over again to seal the edges. |
6. Shallow fry each side with oil. Then serve with pickle or chutney. |
Tip; in similar way cauliflower or even cabbage could be used to make variations in the paratha. However for cabbage slight steaming is suggested. |
