Samosa
Time of preparation: 40 Minutes
Time of cooking: 30 Minutes
Flour | 3 cups |
Salt | ¼ tea spoon |
Water | For kneading |
1. Add salt to ¼ cup of water and dissolve well. |
2. Kneed the flour adding the salted water and then add as much water needed to make dough. |
3. Make four partitions and roll out on a board with rolling pin. |
4. Place all the rolled out dough dusting flour in between and roll again. |
5. Place on a flat bread pan and cook slightly. |
6. Cut out 2 ½ inch wide strips and separate each piece. |
7. Cover in a muslin cloth and leave aside. |
Minced Meat | 3 cups |
Sweet Peas | ½ cup |
Potatoes (cut in small cubes) | 2 medium |
Salt | To taste |
Chilli Powder | ½ tea spoon |
Turmeric Powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Chat Masala | ½ tea spoon |
Roasted Coriander & Cumin Powder | ¼ tea spoon |
Onion (chopped) | 1 medium |
Fresh Green Chillies (chopped) | 2 to 3 |
Ginger & Garlic Paste | 1 tea spoon |
Oil | For frying |
8. Stir the minced meat with spices in 2 table spoon of oil on medium heat. |
9. Add ginger & garlic paste and let cook for some time. |
10. Add the potatoes, onion and sweet peas let simmer for another 5 minutes. |
11. Finally add the coriander and green chilli and remove from heat. |
12. Once cooled wrap in the strips making equilateral triangular shape. |
13. Deep fry and serve with your choice of sauce. |
