Tender Tasty Swiss Steak
Time of preparation: 45 Minutes
Time of cooking: 30 Minutes
Steak | ½ kg |
Vinegar | ½ cup |
1. Marinate the steak in vinegar and bring to boil once and leave aside. |
Flour | ¼ cup |
Butter | 2 table spoon |
Garlic (finely chopped) | 1 tea spoon |
Ginger (finely grated) | 1 tea spoon |
Onion (finely cut in rings) | 1 medium |
Baby potatoes (halved) | 4 to 5 |
Tomato Sauce | ½ cup |
Chili sauce | 1 table spoon |
Caster Sugar | 1 tea spoon |
Salt & black pepper | To taste |
Beef Stock | 1 cup |
2. Sauté the onion and add the ginger & garlic. |
3. Add tomato & chili sauce and other spices and let cook. |
4. Also add some beef stock and bring to a boil lower the flame and add the steak. |
5. Melt the butter in another pan and stir in flour. |
6. Add the flour in the broth and stir well. |
7. Add green chilies and remove from heat. |

Olive Oil | 1 table spoon |
Salt | ¼ tea spoon |
Fresh Ground pepper | To taste |
Mustard Powder | ¼ tea spoon |
8. Mix all the above ingredients and garnish the steak with this salad sauce. |
9. Serve mashed potatoes and onion rings for sides. |
